Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service.

You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, handle inventory, and help maintain a respectful, inclusive store environment. The role requires state licensure/certification and a high school diploma or equivalent. Regular attendance on weekends is expected, with about 29 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements including age, education and licensure/certification
• If state board does not mandate minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers with empathy and provide exceptional service
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe prescription fulfillment
• Maintain accurate medication handling and inventory within legal requirements
• Adhere to SOPs and assist pharmacists to improve patient health outcomes
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed
• Comply with laws and CVS policies to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Provide additional health services where allowed and trained
