Job summary

CVS Health in Tennessee is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations, assist patients, fill prescriptions accurately, and uphold safety and quality standards across stores. You will work as part of the pharmacy team, following SOPs and delivering compassionate service daily.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice; minimum age and education rules apply.
• State licensure and national certification vary by state; compliance is required.
• Active enrollment in high school or equivalency programs acceptable if no minimum education specified.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients at pickup and drive-thru windows.
• Demonstrate clear communication with patients and teammates.
• Perform accurate prescription labeling and math calculations for dispensing.
• Identify and resolve patient issues, escalating when appropriate.
• Maintain safety and physical task readiness; support inventory and workflow as directed.
• Assist with immunizations and offsite clinics where legally permitted.
