Job summary

CVS Health in Portland, TN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service. You will help manage workflow, assist with immunizations where allowed, and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

You will complete required training and state licensure/certification as needed, while rotating across shifts to meet patient needs in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If state board does not specify minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation for safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic service to patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and by phone.
• Assist with inventory tasks and safe handling of medications.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team; pivot between tasks as needed.
• Travel to other stores in the market if required by business.
