Job summary

CVS Health in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with production, pickup, drive-thru, and help maintain a respectful, inclusive store environment.

You will complete required training, meet state licensure requirements, and may assist with immunizations and other services as trained.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• State that a high school diploma or equivalent is required or the candidate must be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks over a period of time and switch tasks as needed to meet patient and business needs.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist patients and colleagues.
• Verify prescription information and ensure label accuracy, ensuring patient safety.
• Assist with basic inventory activities and returns-to-stocks.
• Support immunizations and vaccines as trained and permitted by law.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety.
