Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care in a retail setting. You will follow SOPs, assist pharmacists, and help manage inventory while delivering excellent service to customers.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, state licensure requirements, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures at each workstation to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist pharmacists in patient communication and service excellence.
• Support inventory activities and proper medication handling.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
