Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service in our stores. You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory, and help provide immunizations and point-of-care services where permitted and trained.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be prepared to meet state licensure/certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including licensure/certification where applicable.
• If no minimum age is mandated by the state board, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, genuine care to create positive patient experiences.
• Assist with inventory tasks and returns-to-stocks within legal allowances.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores as needed by the business.
• Comply with applicable laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Support immunizations and other CVS health services where trained and certified.
