Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in our store locations. You will assist with prescription fulfillment, patient service, immunizations where allowed, and maintain accurate records with guidance from the Pharmacist-on-duty.

The role requires compliance with state board of pharmacy rules, completion of required training, and a focus on safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Essential Functions: Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: Assist customers in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: Calculate quantities, days’ supply, and dosages
• Problem Resolution: Address patient or colleague issues
• Physical Demands: Able to stand, lift up to 20 lbs, and move items as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Support pharmacy team to deliver service excellence
• Assist patients with immunizations and other pharmacy services where allowed by law
• Maintain inventory and assist with receiving deliveries
• Adhere to SOPs and privacy and security guidelines
• Collaborate with pharmacists and store team to deliver a great patient experience
