Job summary

CVS Health Albany is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and caring customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations (where allowed by state), manage basic inventory, and help patients through pickup, drive-thru, and phone interactions while complying with state boards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment in high school or equivalent.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Verify prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Deliver compassionate customer service to patients and colleagues.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and training.
• Manage inventory and assist with stock, returns-to-shelves, and cycles counts.
• Follow SOPs and maintain a safe, inclusive pharmacy environment.
