Job summary

CVS Health is hiring for a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and a compassionate patient experience in our retail stores. You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory and participate in immunization and other health services where permitted by law.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, state licensure and national certification where applicable, and the ability to travel between stores as needed to support the

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws.
• If state board has no minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• If no minimum education is mandated, must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Perform basic inventory activities, including deliveries, cycle counts and returns.
• Support immunizations and other health services where allowed by law.
• Voluntarily travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
