Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment in retail stores. Technicians assist with operations, customer service, and adherence to SOPs to ensure quality patient care.

Successful candidates will complete required state licensing, maintain accuracy in labeling, and participate in ongoing training. The role may involve immunization support and occasional travel to other market stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists.
• Fulfill pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and care to create positive patient experiences.
• Complete basic inventory activities and manage deliveries and stock levels.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and expand clinical and technical knowledge.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed by the business.
• Comply with relevant laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional patient health care services where allowed, such as immunizations.
