Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment in our retail stores. You will assist with operations, provide caring patient service, and help ensure immunizations and other services are delivered safely where allowed.

Upon hire, you’ll complete a rigorous training program and meet state licensure/certification requirements. Some roles require travel between stores to cover shifts in the market.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If no minimum educational requirement is mandated, may be 16 years old as a minimum age
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic customer service and support immunizations and other services where allowed
• Perform basic inventory tasks and maintain proper medication handling
• Support growth and learning by following SOPs and participating in training
