Technicians follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, manage inventory, and help provide a welcoming experience while ensuring regulatory compliance and privacy.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, state licensure, and national certification where required.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
