Job summary

CVS Health in Houston is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service at our retail store. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and other services, and help maintain inventory and workflow across the pharmacy.

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists with patient health
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety
• Assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by law
• Perform basic inventory tasks and ensure proper stocking
• Support a high-performing team and remain flexible to store needs
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business
