Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient service in a retail store environment. Technicians are the first point of contact for patients and help ensure efficient workflow by following SOPs and collaborating with Pharmacists.

The role requires adherence to state Board of Pharmacy guidelines and ongoing training, with opportunities to participate in immunizations and other health services where

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, the candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist pharmacists and provide empathetic, patient-centered service.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and help with stocking and returns-to-stocks.
• Support immunizations and other patient health services where allowed by law.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
