Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe prescriptions and high-quality patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory, and help run immunization and other services at the register and via phone.

You will complete required training, meet state licensure and national certification requirements, and may travel to stores in the market as needed. This role offers benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Living our SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Providing empathetic, personalized service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Completing basic inventory activities, such as receiving deliveries and cycle counts
• Contributing to a high-performing team and expanding clinical and technical knowledge
• Willingness to travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed
• Complying with federal, state, and local laws, regulations and CVS policies
• Delivering immunizations and other services where allowed by law and trained
