Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate service in store locations. You will assist with production, pick-up, drive-thru and phone interactions while following SOPs and regulatory requirements.

The role requires completing required training and maintaining licensure/certification where applicable, with opportunities to provide immunizations and other services where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice.
• Minimum age as required by state board (often 16+).
• High school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Ensure accurate labeling and safe dispensing of prescriptions.
• Deliver compassionate customer service at pick-up, drive-thru and over the phone.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Assist with basic inventory, deliveries and returns-to-stocks.
• Travel to market stores as needed.
• Comply with laws, CVS policies and protect patient privacy.
• Provide additional health services where permitted by law.
