The role includes preparing and dispensing medications, supporting immunizations where allowed, handling inventory, and maintaining patient privacy while delivering friendly service across drive‑thru and in-store interactions.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program.
• State‑level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide empathetic, patient‑centered service and assist pharmacists and patients.
• Contribute to inventory activities and follow legal requirements for medication handling.
• Support immunizations and other services where legally allowed and training/certification exists.
