Qualifications

• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee (required).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong data entry skills with accuracy and efficiency required.
• Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify prescription orders (written/electronic).
• Input prescription data into pharmacy software accurately.
• Answer phones and assist patients with questions.
• Contact providers for prescription clarifications and refill authorizations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve insurance claim issues.
• Support pharmacists with packaging and labeling medications.
• Help maintain inventory and place medication orders when directed.
