Job summary

Fry’s Food Stores in Arizona is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in patient care and health services. You will assist with data entry, dispensing, and reception duties while maintaining HIPAA compliance and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll help implement health and wellness initiatives, perform CLIA‑waived screenings where allowed, and ensure accurate information and processes across the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing steps.
• Support training of clerks and/or technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches records.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings as allowed by state and federal law and company policies.
