Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy, dispensing prescriptions and completing clerical tasks under a pharmacist's supervision. The role is full-time at 35 hours weekly with location at Alma, MI and coverage at nearby sites.

Responsibilities include customer service, verification of orders, inventory management, and regulatory compliance, with travel to Saginaw, Alma, West Branch, and Stanton when needed.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Michigan.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license.
• Ability to travel to sites in the area for coverage needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision.
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist the pharmacist in pharmacy functions and regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Make deliveries when needed.
