Job summary

You will handle prescription filling, labeling, and inventory, while supporting audits and training requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must complete continuing education hours as required by law.
• Ability to adapt to changes in schedule and priorities.
• Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
• Must complete all required state, federal and company training programs (HIPAA, Methamphetamine, FWA, I-pledge, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Takes steps to fill prescriptions in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies; retrieves products, counts, pours or measures, and labels containers.
• Responds to telephone requests from customers, physicians, and vendors within legal scope and defers to pharmacist when necessary.
• Communicates and cooperates with peers and customers in a courteous, professional manner per customer service guidelines.
• Assists with monthly CII audits.
• Maintains inventory levels, stocks orders, and rotates stock according to procedures.
• Presents professional standards and adheres to appearance and dress code.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
