Job summary

The Central Florida Family Health Center, Inc. dba True Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician. Under the supervision of the Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager you will prepare prescriptions for verification and maintain pharmacy workflow, including cashiering and will-call release.

This is NOT a remote position. The role requires a Florida Pharmacy Technician license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of two years in a retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician Training Program Certificate required.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a retail community pharmacy setting.
• Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license, active and in good standing, with no restrictions.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains relationship with Pharmacy Manager and supports organizational activities.
• Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining all operations of the pharmacy department.
• Perform accurate data entry including billing, dispensing, labeling, and release to patient.
• Handle cashiering and will-call release with accurate change to patients.
• Submit accurate supply and medication orders under the Pharmacist's direction.
• Ensure compliance with 340b, HIPAA, SOP, QA, and CQI policies and regulations.
• Verify prescriptions for dispensing and perform 340b eligibility checks.
• Navigate the EHR to obtain necessary prescription information.
• Maintain inventory storage, counts, and shelving.
