Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills essential.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment is critical.
• Desire to help others and enhance patient care is important.
• Preferred: CPhT certification or willingness to obtain it within a timeframe.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and prescription processing is key.
• Experience in community pharmacy preferred.
• Knowledge of 340B regulations is beneficial.
• Familiarity with EHR and pharmacy management systems is advantageous.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and dispensing.
• Prepare medications for dispensing, including labeling and packaging.
• Perform accuracy checks before pharmacist verification.
• Greet and assist patients with inquiries and prescription pickups.
• Educate patients on medication adherence and financial assistance.
• Manage inventory and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Process insurance claims and maintain patient records.
