Job summary

Hunter Health Clinic Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide technical support to the pharmacist and deliver exceptional customer service while dispensing prescriptions to clinic patients.

You will maintain the electronic health record, assist with inventory, and ensure compliance with 340B programs and relevant regulations. The role requires teamwork, accuracy, and the ability to adapt in a busy community health setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Kansas license within 30 days of hire.
• Pharmacy technician licensure in Kansas in good standing required.
• PTCB or NHA certification required before first license renewal.
• Current Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• Immunization certificate preferred; 1+ year retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders and manage POS operations with accuracy.
• Provide prompt, courteous patient service and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records in the pharmacy computer system and EHR.
• Inventory management: receive, stock, and create purchase orders/returns.
• Coordinate with clinicians to resolve refill requests and insurance issues.
• Support Pharmacy Coordinator and Director in quality and compliance efforts.
• Assist with 340B program administration and policy adherence.
