Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in filling medication orders, maintain the pharmacy work area and inventory, and deliver pharmaceuticals to patient care units.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Facility-approved Pharmacy Technician Education Program; Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred. Prior experience is not required but welcome.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer keyboard with some familiarity with computer technology and programs.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to concentrate on task for extended periods of time.
• Able to accurately enter data for six to seven hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling medication orders as prescribed by physicians for patients of all ages.
• Maintain the pharmacy work area and pharmacy inventory.
• Deliver pharmaceuticals to the patient care unit.
• Assist with required record keeping.
