Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in filling medication orders, maintaining the pharmacy work area and inventory, and delivering pharmaceuticals to patient care units.

The position requires a high school diploma, completion of a Pharmacy Technician Education Program, and the ability to accurately enter data. Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred, and prior experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete a facility-approved Pharmacy Technician Education Program.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Medication Administration Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling medication orders as prescribed by physicians for patients of all ages.
• Maintain the pharmacy work area and pharmacy inventory.
• Deliver pharmaceuticals to the patient care unit.
• Assist with required record keeping.
