Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time evening shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) with rotating weekends.

You will work under supervision, maintain floor stock, prep for medication distribution, and assist with packing and shipping. Qualifications include a High School diploma, Texas Pharmacy Technician license preferred, reliability and multi-tasking ability, strong organization, and the ability to lift light loads.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
