Job summary

Logan Health Chester Pharmacy is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in medication distribution, inventory management, and patient-focused service. Under supervision, you will perform non-clinical tasks to support safe patient care and efficient operations.

The role requires Montana CPhT licensure, strong communication, and familiarity with pharmacy systems. Flexible scheduling and competitive pay start at $20/hour, with benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Montana CPhT license in good standing.
• Prior health care experience preferred.
• RQI First Responder required.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Understanding of medical terminology and medication names (brand/generic).
• Experience with Pharmacy Systems and EHR; ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications from the pharmacy to inpatient/outpatient areas under pharmacist supervision.
• Complete rounds and assist with billing and inventory, coordinating with pharmacy staff.
• Answer calls and route inquiries; provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain inventory: order, receive, shelve, and communicate drug shortages.
• Maintain neat, safe work area; manage disposal and cleanliness.
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current with pharmacy law and licensure.
