Job summary

Logan Health Chester is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician in Chester, MT to support medication distribution for inpatient and outpatient units and to operate automated dispensing systems and barcode scanning.

Eligible applicants must hold an active Montana pharmacy technician license, demonstrate excellent communication, typing, and accuracy, and work well both independently and as part of a team under professional supervision. Flexible scheduling across weekdays and weekends is available.

Qualifications

• Active MT pharmacy technician license in good standing (CPhT).
• Typing skills and proficiency with medical terminology essential.
• Experience with pharmacy systems and EHRs preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with medication distribution to inpatient and outpatient units.
• Operate automated dispensing system and barcode scanning.
• Maintain inventory: order, receive, shelve, document shortages, dispose expired items.
• Ensure accurate billing and patient account adjustments.
