Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for the Outpatient Float Pool to support medication preparation and distribution under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

This role requires accurate preparation, packaging, sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory control, and compliance with Ohio Board of Pharmacy rules; training may be required; 40 hours weekly with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered or eligible for Ohio pharmacy technician registration.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support safe preparation and distribution of medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in packaging, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and inventory control.
• Maintain documentation and regulatory compliance with Ohio Board of Pharmacy rules.
• Provide patient-centered technical support and ensure service excellence.
