Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Registered or eligible for Ohio Pharmacy Technician registration. Technician Trainees must submit required documents to the Ohio Board of Pharmacy at least 10 business days before start date.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, efficient, and compliant preparation and distribution of medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist in medication preparation and packaging, including sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Perform inventory management and documentation; maintain storage and security standards for medications.
• Support regulatory compliance with Ohio Board of Pharmacy rules, USP standards as applicable, and institutional policies.
• Contribute to patient care and research protocols while upholding hospital mission and values.
