Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is hiring Pharmacy Technicians for an on-site role in Minnetonka, MN, with a November 2026 start. This full-time position supports long-term care customers with accurate order entry, insurance adjudication, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in order entry in a retail or long-term care pharmacy setting.
• Must possess a MN State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• PTCB is preferred but not required.
• Experience with FrameworkLTC is preferred but not required.
• Type an average of 60 wpm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Can meet order deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Is available for occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently enter new or renewed orders.
• Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections.
• Properly handle order exceptions and clarifications such as refill-too-soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and peers.
• Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast-paced environment.
