Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PHATP certification from the State Board of Pharmacy required.
• PHAT certification from State Board of Pharmacy required within 18 months of hire.
• If you already have both PHAT and national CPhT certification, you may be hired into Pharmacy Tech I.

Responsibilities

• Provides distributive pharmacy services and support for the pharmacist and patients.
• Manage Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) to ensure unit-specific medication is available.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk repackaging per safety standards.
• Conduct regular audits of medication inventory and remove/replace expired items.
