Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician for its on-site Denver Metro locations serving University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora and Lowry Office.   • Manage Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) to ensure unit-specific medication is available.
  • Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk repackaging per safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of medication inventory and remove/replace expired items.

Shifts/Hours:

  • Full time shifts available
  • Rotating shift between days and evenings (hours may vary between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm) and include weekends
  • Shift differentials

Pay:$20.26 - $26.34 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

The Pharmacy Technician role provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist and patients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • PHATP (Pharmacy Technician Provisional) certification from the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • PHAT (Pharmacy Technician) cerification from State Board of Pharmacy within 18 months of hire
  • If you currently have both a PHAT (Pharmacy Technician) certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (not provisional) and national certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) you may be hired into a Pharmacy Tech I title

Pharmacy Technician:

  • Conduct regular audits of medication inventory to identify expired or near-expired items, ensuring prompt removal and replacement
