Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Elizabethtown, KY seeks a pharmacy technician to join our long-term care team. You will work under a supervisor, manage floor stock, rotate medication areas, and assist with packing and shipping medications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed with the KY Board of Pharmacy required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be reliable and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Maintain floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
