***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Document care delivered and follow-up care required for all Healthcare Providers (HCPs).
  2. Participate in meetings and task force groups to improve quality, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and stay informed on new developments, efforts, and policies.
  3. Assist with managing daily activities and prioritizing tasks.
  4. Use a personal computer to access email, electronic calendars, and office software.
  5. Follow all applicable Acuity standards and guidelines.
  6. Maintain patient dignity and observe the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights for patients.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
  8. Dispense prescription drugs and healthcare products, and perform pharmacy-related functions.
  9. Support extended clinical pharmacy roles, such as independent prescribing, and ensure the security of prescription drugs and inventory control.
Qualifications:
  • Completed a formal Pharmacy Technician training program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate's degree.
  • At least two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Participate in training, including HIPAA training.
  • Maintain current CPR certification.
  • Recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months within the past year.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Work is performed mainly in an office environment.
  • Sitting and standing for prolonged periods may be required.
