Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Document care delivered and follow-up care required for all Healthcare Providers (HCPs).
• Participate in meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and stay informed about new developments, efforts, and policies.
• Assist in managing daily activities and prioritizing tasks.
• Use a personal computer to access email, calendars, and office software.
• Comply with all applicable standards and guidelines.
• Respect patient dignity and adhere to the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Dispense prescription drugs and healthcare products, and perform pharmacy-related functions.
• Support extended clinical pharmacy roles, including ensuring drug security and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Complete a formal Pharmacy Technician training program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate's degree.
• At least two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Participate in training, including HIPAA training.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months in the past year is required for healthcare providers and medical support staff.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Work is typically performed in an office environment.
• Sitting and standing for prolonged periods may be involved.
