Job summary

Concordia at Cabot in Cabot, PA is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. You will work alongside pharmacists to prepare medications for residents and patients, ensuring accurate labeling, proper dosing, and safe handling in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or trainee registration required.
• Comfort using basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for dispensing by filling new and refill medication orders.
• Prepare compounded pharmaceutical products according to formulations with labeling and expiration dating.
• Maintain inventory control and order replacements.
• Enter inventory data into the computer system.
• Reconciles orders upon receipt and puts stock away.
• Assist with handling of returns per policy.
• Clean workspace and equipment according to prescribed methods.

What You'll Do

• Prepare medications for dispensing by filling new and refill medication orders
• Prepare compounded pharmaceutical products according to the computer-generated and/or pharmacist approved formulation record including proper labeling and expiration dating
• Maintain inventory control, which includes maintaining stock of medications, monitoring expiration dates, and ordering replacements
• Enter inventory data into the computer system
• Reconciles orders upon receipt and puts stock away
• Assist with the handling of returns per company policy
• Clean workspace and equipment according to prescribed methods
