Job summary

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is seeking a Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Minnesota. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, you will assist in the timely and accurate dispensing of medications to patients, following state and federal guidelines.

Day/evening rotating shifts include every other weekend. Eligible candidates must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician and demonstrate strong computer, math, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Epic and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to compute and convert drug concentrations and doses.
• Attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, assists in the timely and accurate dispensing of non-sterile hazardous and non-hazardous medications to patients in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Work Schedule

Day/Evening rotating shifts, including every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic computer skills required including use of Epic and Microsoft Office products (e‑mail, internet, Word, Excel).
  • Math aptitude is required. Ability to mathematically compute and convert drug concentrations and doses.
