Job summary

HealthPartners is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin to support the pharmacy team under a pharmacist's supervision. The role emphasizes accurate communication with caregivers and patients, and basic computer tasks within daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a WI license, and Pharmacy Technician program completion, with CPhT certification preferred. Weekend and shift variations are possible depending on coverage needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a technician is advantageous.

Job description

Position Summary:

Provides technical support to the pharmacy department, under the direction of a registered pharmacist, to ensure the effective and efficient deliverance of pharmaceutical services.

Work Schedule:

Primarily 8-hour shifts Monday through Thursday (8:00 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.) and Friday (8:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.). Weekend coverage consists of 4-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with an every-fourth-weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

• High School Graduate or equivalent

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

• State of WI – registered Pharmacy Technician license

Preferred Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

• Previous experience as a technician.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

• Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician program and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) strongly preferred
