Job summary

Methodist Hospital, part of HealthPartners Enterprise, seeks a Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician. Under pharmacist supervision, you will help dispense medications and support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required MN Pharmacy Technician registration, strong math, typing, and computer skills, and the ability to work day/evening shifts with weekend rotation. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Familiar with Epic and Microsoft Office applications (e-mail, internet, Word, Excel).
• Math aptitude to compute and convert drug concentrations and doses.
• Ability to type.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Time management, prioritizing and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the timely and accurate dispensing of medications under direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Handle non-sterile hazardous and non-hazardous medications in compliance with guidelines.
