Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Non Certified to support pharmacists in preparation and distribution of prescription medications. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, labelling, and patient information management in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, and may be working toward a licensed technician certification. Prior clerk experience is preferred, and eligibility to administer vaccines where permitted by law is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a pharmacy clerk is preferred.
• Vaccination certification as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service in the pharmacy.

• Enter prescription and patient information into the computer and maintain accuracy.
• Prepare labels, rely on the pharmacist's guidance, and assist with insurance submissions.
