Job summary
Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications, under supervision, ensuring compliance with laws for patient safety.
The position offers full-time hours with Mercy's comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have education as listed and be eligible for MO Pharmacy Technician registration, with orientation provided.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
- Licensure: Missouri Board of Pharmacy registration or willing to submit by first day of work, incl. fingerprints for FBI check.
- Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
- Other: Complete pharmacy department orientation.
