Avita Care Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Salisbury, NC, to assist pharmacists in central fill and retail settings, ensuring accurate dispensing and patient education.

The role reports to Avita Care Solutions and requires 1+ year of technician experience, NC BOP registration, and proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with no weekends or nights.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; an Associate degree or higher is preferred.
• One or more years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Must be registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy (BOP).
• National Pharmacy Technician certification is highly preferred.
• Proficient in English; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Remove drug(s) from stock; count, pour, or mix pharmaceuticals.
• Place product into designated containers.
• Affix labels to containers.
• Package/repackage as needed.
• Verify/re-verify insurance benefits.
• Interact professionally with patients and team members.
• Answer calls and make outbound calls to patients, case managers, providers, and insurers.
• Coordinate prescription deliveries.
• Handle POS transactions and reconcile day-end totals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Proactively identify problems and provide solutions.
