Job summary

Avita Care Solutions in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist with preparing and dispensing prescribed medications in a central fill and retail environment. The role supports patient care and education, working Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.

to 6:00 p.m., with no nights or weekends. You will handle labeling, packaging, insurance verification, patient communication, and daily cash transactions, while maintaining compassionate service and accurate records in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related health degree preferred.
• One or more years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Must be registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient with pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist with preparing and dispensing medications.
• Affix labels and package/repackage as needed.
• Verify insurance benefits and handle POS transactions.
• Interact professionally with patients and team members.
• Respond to calls and manage patient communications.
• Maintain accurate reports and correspondence.
