Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Ithaca, NY to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours are 8:00am–4:30pm Mon–Fri at 201 E Green St, Ithaca, NY 14850. Prior pharmacy data entry and license/certifications are preferred. Pay ranges $16–$29 hourly with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation and valid US Driver's License.
• Pharmacy data entry experience is preferred.
• Pharmacy technician license and certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinics.
• Fill prescription orders under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Order, receive and store pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders and verify stock.
• Enter data in computer and maintain inventory records.
• Assist with pharmacy operations and compliance with laws.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
