Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health and specialty pharmacy in Salt Lake City. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours are Mon-Fri, 9am–6pm MT, at 241 West 2100 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84115. The role offers competitive benefits including PTO, health plans, 401(k), education reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Utah.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements
• Performs clerical duties related to the department
• Maintains strong verbal and written communication with colleagues and customers
• Other duties as assigned
