Cone Health Medical Group seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support patient care in our pharmacy operations. This role includes compounding hazardous and non-hazardous IV medications, distributing medications per policy, and obtaining complete medication histories.

You will serve as a reference for other technicians, mentor new staff during training, and lead process improvements to elevate department quality.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 7 years of experience; CH accredited technician training program equivalence counts as 2 years.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician; must complete advanced certification within 12 months of starting.

Mansioni

• Maintains pharmacy workflow including IV medications; compounding hazardous and non-hazardous, and distribution per standards.
• Serves as a reference for other pharmacy technicians.
• Mentors trainees during training and orientation of new employees.
• Leads and implements process improvement and departmental quality initiatives.

• Serves as a reference for other pharmacy technicians.
• Serves as a mentor in the training and orientation of new employees.
• Leads and implements process improvement and departmental quality initiatives.
• Communicates effectively with team members in and outside of pharmacy, providing quality customer service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Required: 7 years. Successful completion (graduation) of CH accredited technician training program is equivalent to 2 years of experience.

Licensure/Certification/Listing

• Required: Certified Pharmacy Technician and must complete an 'advanced pharmacy technician certification' within 12 months of starting the role.
