Job summary

Walgreens in Dorado, PR is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision and to operate pharmacy systems for patient and drug information and prescriptions.

You will deliver a distinctive customer experience, support technicians and cashiers, and participate in inventory management and clinical services as needed. Must have PTCB certification and at least one year of experience; flexible schedule and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
• Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Coach pharmacy technicians in pharmacy system use and cashiers in cash register operations.
• Lead inventory management and support pharmacist in clinical and operational duties.
