Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist under supervision and help process prescriptions using pharmacy systems. You will deliver a friendly customer experience, assist with inventory, and participate in ongoing training.

Requirements include English fluency and flexibility for a varied schedule. Preferred are six months in retail, prior Walgreens experience, strong math skills, and PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescriptions (counting/measuring).
• Good computer skills and basic store inventory knowledge.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy duties and adhere to policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with inventory management and pharmacy-related clerical tasks.
• Handle cash register operations and customer interactions.
• Answer phone calls and communicate with physicians as needed.
• Support external healthcare providers and maintain professional relationships.
